With increasing public concern over the potential transmission of COVID-19, Killington Resort has decided that in the best interest of everyone, we will not be hosting the Vermont Brewers Festival on Saturday, March 21, 2020. While this was an extremely difficult decision to make, we are in complete support and committed to the health and safety of our attendees, brewers, vendors, and staff and feel it best to err on the side of caution to ensure everyone’s health and well-being during this pandemic.
As a non-profit 501(c)6 our festival at Killington and our festival on the waterfront in Burlington are our annual fundraisers. The money raised from our events directly supports the brewing industry through marketing, education and advocacy for Vermont made beer. We are extremely heavy hearted to not be celebrating Vermont beer with all of you next weekend. If you are a ticket holder, please visit our website for more information www.vermontbrewers.com/…/vermont-brewers-festi…/get-tickets/
Thank you for your support of our brewing industry in Vermont. We encourage everyone to take good care of themselves and be responsible for their health and the health of those around them. Be well, be smart, and in the meantime, Drink Vermont Beer. See you at our summer fest on July 17 and 18 on the waterfront in Burlington. Cheers! ... See MoreSee Less
If it's as sunny where you are as it is here in northern Vermont right now, you should probably be out taking a walk or something... but if you still have questions about a previous purchase or how the current shut-down will impact our season pass sale and summer operations, we have all sorts of things to share with you: ... Totally agree...being transparent and showing us that “you get it” makes me want to keep the money in your pockets. Thanks for all your doing.
Thank you for the update. I love the idea of a pass payment program!
Good job Lindsey and the BV Team.
Awesome response to questions we might have about a myriad of things on peoples minds .it is painful for ALL of us that live their lives through skiing and socializing within the industry.
Thank you 🙏 and we can make it happen
We find ourselves navigating the days like many of our family, friends and businesses and today, we were grateful to offer up perishable items that remain in stock to staff. Thank you to those that took advantage and to all of our guests, passholders, and community members that continue to reach out with patience and understanding. All questions and inquiries should be directed to [email protected] and we’ll continue to be in touch. ... See MoreSee Less
As a result of the unfolding events surrounding the COVID-19 public health crisis, our team has made the careful decision to extend the suspension of our operations until further notice.
Our ultimate goal is for us all to have a healthy return to the mountains, to ski, ride, hike, bike and play after this situation improves. That could be late spring meaning Superstar spins once again or it could mean we reopen with downhill mountain biking. Until then, we want to sincerely thank you for your patience and understanding in this situation. Please stay safe so that we can enjoy more days adventuring and doing what we love with those we love for many years to come.
Due to high call volume, we encourage guests needing to speak with us to submit a request for an email or call back at this link: bit.ly/2U4PCuf
Only made it twice this year, for the tuck it and the Wednesday that same week for the slushy 8 inches. Best 2 days I clocked this year. Magic is doing it right.
Sadly only made it up for Apres this year but nonetheless always impressed with how y’all have turned things around! Thank you and keep it up!
I hope my entire magic family is well. I thank Geoff, Kerry, Craig, Denise, Josh, Melissa, Matt and the Mountain Ops team and the entire Magic staff for their hard work on another great season that was unfortunately cut short. We will all be together again and more Magic-al moments await! Be well all! Hope that wasn’t too corny I meant it from the heart!
Thanks Ant! Miss u guys already! Stay safe and we will all be hanging again soon enough! Cheers!
Once we made the difficult decision to close our resort, our Food & Beverage team got to work making sure no food went to waste. We have donated over 2,000 pounds of food to the Vermont Food Bank, SASH (Support and Services at Home), and the Twin Valley School District. The efforts of these organizations will help ensure that our community members stay well fed during this difficult time.
Since you're feeling so generous how about a refund on part of my seasons pass
Thanks for the up dates
Hope your all well
And always sending my best wishes to everyone at mount snow
I think what MT Snow did is great. To bicker over a prorated refund with all that is happening in the world 🌍 today seems petty to me. Let’s be Grateful for the skiing we did this season and for the skiing we will ALL be able to do in the future!!
Stay healthy and have a Grateful Day!!!
Good job 👏 I’m on the front lines and can’t wait for all this to be over with. I can’t wait for the next season for me and my friends to enjoy the mountain again
Lovely to hear that mount snow . Hopefully we will see you next season
My wife & I usually spend a week Skiing at Mt, Snow. 2020 has been a bad year 4 our family & we didn't do much Skiing & we didn't get 2 spend a week at Mt. Snow like we do every year. We hope next year will be a better Ski season 4 olur family. .
Mount Snow staff thank you for the great work, generosity and thinking of others. Stay healthy and safe.
We love MT Snow and their great staff, just renewed our season passes and can't wait for the 20/21 season
That was great till you felt the need to get gratification from posting about it online. Like they say. Feed and help the homeless but leave the cameras home.
FANTASTIC , THANK YOU MOUNT SNOW,,,,,,,,,,,,IT WILL BE SO APPRECIATED,,,,,,,,,,,,,,, We will get passed this Stay POSITIVE
Thank you Mount Snow. Proud to call you family.
We still had fun see you in the Fall 👍
Great job Mt. Snow, that's awesome!
I've been going there since 1966. Great trails! Old favorite...Ripcord!!🏂🎿
Thank you! Vermont is better because of you! ❤️

Amazing!!! So nice to see how you are helping the community!
Thank you Mount Snow. This is wonderful to hear in a time of so much sadness.
COVID-19 Update: Okemo Mountain Resort, and the rest of our North American resorts, will remain closed for the 2019-20 ski season, due to the fast-moving situation involving COVID-19. This was not an easy decision to make, and we deeply considered the extended impact it will have on our guests, employees, communities, and the entire Okemo family. While it’s disappointing for all of us, we know it is the responsible thing to do at this time. Thanks to all guests for a great ski season and your continued support during these unprecedented times. We will consider reopening our sister resorts Breckenridge, Whistler Blackcomb and Heavenly in late April/early May, dependent on the situation with COVID-19 as well as weather conditions. We will be offering refunds and credits on lift tickets, lodging, ski and ride school and more. We urge guests to use this online form: www.snow.com/info/refund-request-form... See MoreSee Less
Okemo did the best they could with challenging conditions . Thank you .
However I thought I would automatically receive credit for the Buddy Passes I bought this Saturday for Sunday and Monday ? I have to use a form ?
And hoping you will extend the time limit to buy next years’ epic pass . It is terribly confusing and has lots of changes so , for many Seniors , needs to be done in person .
Even though the season was cut short, you did an amazing job, and I Iook forward to the 20-21 season.
Still, it was a great season. Okemo is the best.
for those of us w seasonal lockers, when will the base be open so we can rescue our stuff ?
In spite of these necessary early closings, we had a wonderful ski season. See you again in November/December 2020. ⛷☃️🥰
It’s the right decision, but sorry to hear it, it was a great season!
Thank you everyone for a great ski ⛷ and ride 🏂 season!!
See you next season Okemo Mountain.
Take care of all your Okemo employees.
What about passholders? The season already started too late and was scheduled to end too early. The mountain wasn't really fully opened until mid-February and now it closed by mid-March. I do not feel I got the value I paid for the pass. I even paid insurance for the pass. I expect either partial reimbursement or a loyalty discount should I decide to buy the next year's pass. I am local, socially isolated, uninfected, and I paid for lifts to be turning. This is my only passion. I even have a punch card still not fully used at the Spring House. I am sorry.
Thank you Okemo for a great year
The right move. Too bad Waterville and Gunstock aren’t responsible enough to take the same action.
Thanks for a great season Okemo! Stay Healthy everyone. #RideHighVT
As a partner to a lift maintenance worker at Okemo, I really appreciate you helping to keep not only my family safe but the community on a whole.
School kids need to get their ski equipment back. How shall this happen? I’m sad he didn’t get to use the remainder but I get it.
It’s a sad day, as I haven’t skied yet this season, was waiting for April. You’re doing the right thing and I look forward to next season. ❤️
Why do you have a hold on my refund the bank says its you who needs to release my money. You took it in a second give it back its been 3 days i need the money bad to feed my family!!!
Thank you for a great season. 💙
Thanks Okemo for a wonderful season!
Sad but good. See you next season!!
Can you turn on the mountain cams so we may look at the view from the mountain?
To Okemo Mountain - we have the Epic Local Pass and just got back from a wonderful trip to Park City, The Canyons and Snow Basin but our home mountain is Okemo. Was wondering since we bought insurance for our passes, would there be a pro rated credit made available? Thanks so much. Okemo - the BEST!!!!!!!!
As a result of the unfolding events surrounding the COVID-19 public health crisis, our team has made the hard decision to close Pico Mountain for the remainder of the 2019/20 winter season. We thank you for the many turns, apres drinks, and friendly smiles shared with us this season!
We invite our Pico family to join fellow skiers and riders over at Killington later this spring if we're able to reopen before the season closes. Though Killington is closed now and extending suspension of operations until further notice, we hope to make a healthy return to the mountain before the season's over. If this is the case, your My Pico Season Pass will be valid at Killington.
Due to high call volume, we encourage guests needing to speak with us to submit a request for an email or call back at this link: bit.ly/2U4PCuf
Do we know when the sports center is going to open again.
It's the right thing to do. We all appreciate that.
p.s. Eventually, can you post something about unused 3 Pack and/or unused advance tickets. It's obviously not a top priority. But in time, hopefully y'all get around to sorting it out. Thx
Thank you Pico for a wonderful season!! Making this very smart but hard decision is best for the safety of everyone. Ski you next season🥰
Thanks for a great season. Tell Jeff in bag check I owe him a beer and will pay up next season. Stay safe.
Our time together this season was sweet, but too short. See you in December, I hope!!
Thank you, Pico! It was a great season...with so many improvements with snowmaking! We love you and will be back...probably tomorrow because there is plenty of snow left... #earnyourturns ❤️#myPICOmtn ❤️
It’s the right thing to do. Will anyone be there next week? My skis are still at the shop where I left them for tuning on 2/22. I’ve been out of state ever since due to a family emergency.
I miss skiing so much already! Was not ready to call it quits! See you next season! thanks for the great season!
Thanks for another great year Pico!! Sad not to get in some spring skiing!
Thanks for a great season, Pico!
Will you be offering incentives for next year or partial refunds for pass holders?
Important message regarding uphill traffic (updated March 25):
On Tuesday, March 24, Vermont’s Governor announced that as of Wednesday at 5:00 pm, all Vermonters are to stay at home, only leaving for essential reasons critical to health and safety. With this, Smugglers’ strongly encourages uphillers to avoid the mountain at this time. Additionally, eliminating risk is crucial to keeping our local rescue agencies available and safe during this crisis.
Anyone who chooses to access terrain at Smugglers’ Notch does so at their own risk at this time. Currently, there are no on-mountain services, rescue, or grooming operations. Surface conditions may change at any time. Sledding and motorized vehicles (including snowmobiles) are not permitted on any trails at Smugglers’ Notch Resort.
I may catch some shade for this suggestion, but I would consider closing and locking the summit huts during this time. While they serve as a welcome refuge especially in windy or poor conditions, they also tempt parties to congregate in relatively smaller spaces and can only be accessed by manipulating door handles which just further serve as a possible conduit for transmission. I have always appreciated the resort’s decision to keep the huts open but, unless there are other safety reasons that necessitate them remaining open, I’d consider closing them. Thank you Smuggs!
The Order does, however, allow for exercise and recreation.
I live in NY . My advice to you is STAY HOME!! Who cares about anything else but your health and the health of your family members. The longer you think it’s “okay” to be around others , the more people who are going to spread this virus. 🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻
Pleas just listen
We’d like to express our sincere appreciation to our Stowe family. In the last week, guests, neighbors, and resort employees have banded together during these uncertain times to help others. Together, we’ve supported local food banks and businesses, donated masks and medical supplies to local emergency services, honored each other’s health through social distancing, and we continue to face the future with strength and optimism. Please continue to be a light in the community. #stowemt
